March Prayer Letter
March 2026 Update from the Consfords

Our March prayer letter is ready to read, print, and share. Please open the PDF, post it in your church, and help more people pray for the work ahead in Ghana.

Our March prayer letter shares a full month of deputation, church meetings, family time, and answered prayer. Throughout the month, the Lord gave us good meetings, safe travel, and several timely encouragements. In addition, this page makes the PDF easy to open, easy to print, and easy to share with people who will pray for Ghana.

Because of that, we wanted this post to be simple and useful. Whether you read it online, print a copy for a bulletin board, or pass it along to a friend, this March prayer letter helps keep the burden for Ghana in front of others.

March prayer letter from Joe and Laura Consford

What Is in the March Prayer Letter?

The March prayer letter gives an update from a busy month on the road. It includes missions conferences, family visits, ministry stops across several states, and a few moments that reminded us again of God’s faithfulness. As you read it, you will also see how the Lord used churches, friends, and open doors to encourage us along the way.

In this update, you will read about meetings in Louisiana, Oklahoma, Illinois, Wisconsin, Missouri, Texas, Arizona, and New Mexico. You will also read about Gilbert’s twenty-first birthday, a serious prayer request for Laura’s dad, and a memorable evening on the Navajo Reservation.

Why Print and Share the March Prayer Letter?

Prayer letters still do something valuable. First, they keep missionaries in front of people. Second, they keep real prayer requests visible after a service is over. Finally, they give churches a simple way to remember the work of the Gospel during the week.

For that reason, a printed prayer letter can do quiet work for several days. Someone may see it on Sunday morning. Then another person may read it on Wednesday night. Later, a family may notice it in the hallway and stop to pray. As a result, one page can help keep the burden alive.

Family and Ministry Highlights from March

We started the month in Minden, Louisiana, at Blessed Hope Baptist Church. After that, the Lord gave us a full schedule that included the missions conference at Lukfata Baptist Church in Broken Bow, Oklahoma, and another encouraging conference at Faith Baptist Church in Oak Creek, Wisconsin. Along the way, He also gave us good meetings in Illinois, Missouri, Texas, Arizona, and New Mexico.

March also gave us some important family time. In Oklahoma City, we spent a couple of days with Laura’s parents. Later, we were thankful to see Gilbert for his twenty-first birthday at Providence Baptist College. That visit was a special blessing for our family, and we were glad to be there for such an important milestone.

Please pray with us: Laura’s dad has a large cancerous tumor on his back. Right now, the doctors are planning radiation first and then surgery. Please pray that the treatment works well and that the surgery will not have to be as invasive as expected.

A Memorable Story from the March Prayer Letter

One of the sweetest moments in the March prayer letter came after church one night on the Navajo Reservation in Ramah, New Mexico. Under a clear desert sky, we stood outside with the Aaron family and looked up at the stars. It was a quiet moment, yet it carried a strong lesson.

As I showed the kids how wagon trains once used the North Star for guidance, the picture became plain. God hung that star in place, and He still knows how to guide His people today. That simple moment stayed with us. Moreover, it captured the heart of the whole month.
