W'apow mu e,
Joe took the kids to school this morning and then headed to the border. Joe got to the border a little before 10:00 and was at the Posts' house a little before 1:00. He said that they did not even look at his visa today on the Ivory Coast side. There was a big group of UN people at the border today; so, the border agents were not giving anyone trouble. Oh well, at least he has a visa! : ) Joe had forgotten how much stuff we still have there. He has been busy sorting through things. He will probably come back home on Thursday. He may go back for a second load of stuff in a couple weeks.
I did my normal Monday duties – filtering water, laundry, cleaning, etc.
Just before the kids got home from school, it started raining. A few minutes later, the rain had stopped, and the sun was back out. There was a big rainbow. I watched the kids swim for a little while before supper time.
Gilbert scraped his foot on something. He has been hobbling around tonight. When Bonnie saw that Gilbert had a band-aid on his foot, she showed me that she had an owie on her foot too.

Danny was searching for his slingshot inside. I helped him find it. Then, he took it outside and misplaced it again. I helped him look, but we didn't find it. I'm sure it will turn up somewhere.
Bonnie was the only one who had homework tonight. She usually only has homework on the weekends. But, she got it done. She told me that her teacher didn't write p correctly. I told her that it was the number 9. She has been getting in trouble for arguing. Before I said anything about arguing, she said, "I'm not arguing, Mom. I'm just talking." That girl is a mess!
We watched part of a movie about a dog before bed time. Bonnie said, "Mom, I still love Thumper even though he's dead."
Nantsew yie!
