Bonjour,

At 5:00 A.M., the power went off. It was off for a couple hours and then came back on. It went off and on throughout the morning. Around 8:00, the water went off and was off most of the day. It came back on just in time for baths this evening.

Joe and Gilbert went into Anyama to get the rest of the parts needed to get the water tank outside hooked up to the pump so that we can pump water inside when the water is off. A plumber came and did the plumbing part. Joe didn’t have a pipe threader; so, he couldn’t do what needed to be done. After the plumber finished, Joe got the wiring done. Now, if the water stays on long enough to get the tank filled, we will be in business. : )

I worked on getting the flannelgraph out for the next few Sunday School lessons. After the boys woke up from their naps, we went for a walk.

Gilbert’s foot is doing much better now. The bite area has dried up and is healing nicely. Gilbert didn’t want us to put a bandaid on his foot when we had to keep squeezing on it. Yesterday, Gilbert covered his foot and said, “It’s okay; feels better.” because he was afraid we were going to squeeze it again. Now that it doesn’t hurt anymore, he thinks it would be fine to put a bandaid on it. We told him that it was all better and that we would save the bandaids for the next owie.

A demain,

Joe, Laura, Gilbert, and Danny
