Bonjour!

Our power stayed on all night last night. That was a blessing!

This morning, Joe went to the Bible Institute. He gave my exam and then his exam.

Then, we all went into town. We went to the bank. Then, we stopped at the Coke Depot. We went to a different restaurant for lunch today. It is called The Planters’ Lodge. It was very good. They serve most of the same foods as Captain Hooks, but their prices are cheaper. It has places for people to stay and a swimming pool. Gilbert saw the pool and was trying to figure out a way that he could get down there to it. When someone else walked into the restaurant, he lifted up his shirt and pointed to his shoes. He thought maybe he could enlist some help that way. It didn’t work though.

Danny was awake all morning today. The boys and I took a nap when we got home. Gilbert almost fell asleep in the car on the way home.

Joe is going to the border in the morning to renew the car papers and to get his passport stamped. Because of our visa extensions, Gilbert and I don’t have to go to the border until January. Prince, a teenager from church, is going to ride with him. He doesn’t have school tomorrow. Please pray for safety as they travel.

The Davises went to Accra today. The US Embassy gave permission for them to pick up Danny’s passport. That will save us from another trip to Accra.

A demain,

Joe, Laura, Gilbert, and Danny
