The power was out all night; so, it was a bit of a rough night. The power came back on at 7:00 or so; so I decided to sleep a while longer. I got up, got ready, read my Bible, and went downstairs for some breakfast. After breakfast, I got my things ready to go.

Missionary on Fire Podcast

Preserving the Legacy of Faithful Missionaries

The Missionary on Fire podcast features interviews with veteran missionaries, classic sermons from the field, and stories of God’s faithfulness across generations. If you love the heart behind these stories, you will love the podcast. New episodes regularly.

After leaving the house, we dropped Mrs. Angie off for a funeral; then, we headed to the church to get set up. Once we were set up, I worked on some homework. We were able to get started right on time and had a good first class period. Just as the first class period ended, the power went out. We decided to move outside to have the remaining four classes because it was much cooler outside. Everything was good, except for that at the end of the day I had a sunburn because the sun had apparently shown on me somehow.

After classes, we headed back to the house. The power had been off all day there too, but thankfully it came back on soon after getting home. I was able to take a shower and cool off after the long, hot day. We had leftovers for supper; then, I headed up to my room for the night. I plan to get to sleep earlier than usual because I need to wake up early in the morning for the bus route.
