Sermon Preparation

This morning, I woke up at 9:00 A.M. due to being up quite a bit in the night. I had a very unpleasant night, starting with the power going off just before I got my shower. Once the power went off, I turned my battery powered fan on, but it did not do much good. At 1:30 A.M., I had to turn the generator on to keep the freezer and fridge cool. As soon as I got the generator on, I took a cool shower, then tried to get back to sleep. I was able to get a little bit of sleep in before 3:30 A.M. when I had to turn the generator back off. About fifteen minutes or so later, the power came back on!! As soon as it came back on, I turned all my fans on and my air-conditioner.

Once I woke up, I stayed in my room working on my sermon and stuff until lunch time. For lunch, I had leftover pizza and then went back up to my room. I did not do much besides get my sermon ready. Once it was time for supper, I heated up some leftovers and got ready for church. Once I was ready for church and had everything ready to go, I walked the half mile to the junction and got a taxi ride from there to the church.

The services went well, and we were able to practice our song we are singing Sunday morning for a special. I think it is going to turn out very well. If the Ruckmans are reading this, pretend you did not. 🙂

After the service, I was able to get a ride with the Kenneys back to the house. I am now about to go get cleaned up for the night. Hopefully the power does not go off just before I get in the shower. 🙁
