This morning, I woke up at 7:00. Once I had gotten up, I stayed in my room for a little while before going downstairs. I had breakfast and then worked on the puzzle for a while.

After working on the puzzle for a while, the landlord showed up with a crew of guys. Thankfully, they were able to finish the project, and I now have my shower back. Once they had left, I made some hotdogs for lunch. After lunch, I was able to finish the sky on the puzzle I have been working on.

Preserving the Legacy of Faithful Missionaries

The Missionary on Fire podcast features interviews with veteran missionaries, classic sermons from the field, and stories of God’s faithfulness across generations. If you love the heart behind these stories, you will love the podcast. New episodes regularly.

After working on the puzzle, I went up to my room for the afternoon. I have been trying to figure out a way I can lift weights without having to buy any. I think I have found a solution. I am using a thirty to forty pound box of tracts, lying on my back, and using them as a bench press. I don’t know if it will work, but it is worth a shot. I have also been doing various other exercises and workouts.

After spending the afternoon in my room, I went back down and worked on the puzzle for a while. I was able to find a few more pieces before Pastor Kenney picked me up. They had prepared a delicious meal!!! We had chicken tacos. Everything was so good, including the delicious cinnamon rolls Micah made. I ended up eating way too much and felt a bit sick after eating, but thankfully I was able to keep it all down.

After supper, we watched a movie; then, Pastor Kenney and Micah drove me back to the house. I am now in my room finishing up the blog, then heading off to get cleaned up for the night in my own bathroom!!! I am so glad they were able to get the problem fixed, and I think they were glad too!!!

Wonderful news! Shower is on ! I love that puzzle. Good idea to use the box of tracts.we are all well and doing good. We love you and are praying that God will use you in a mighty way.

  2. I USED A PIECE OF GALVANIZED WATER PIPE AND A BIG OL CARBURATER ON ONE END AND A ROCK ON THE OTHER END. I THOUGHT IT WEIGHED ABOUT 40 POUNDS. IT WORKED TILL I COULD GET MY OWN SET OF WEIGHTS. 🙂
