This morning, we did not have anything planned; so, we had a slow morning. Once I got downstairs, I made some cereal for breakfast. After breakfast, I swept and mopped my room and bathroom. Once the floor had dried, I did a little bit of a pick up, then changed the sheets on my bed. It is always so nice to come into a room that is clean and tidy.

At 11:00 A.M. or so, we went out to do a little bit of shopping. We were able to find everything quickly and be back at the house by 1:00 P.M. Once we got home, Mrs. Angie and Bro. Ruckman made fried bologna sandwiches, which were very good!!! We had also bought a few samosas, which tasted very good also. After lunch, I went up to my room for a rest before we played games in the afternoon. I am definitely on a losing streak, as I got last place in both of the games.

Missionary on Fire Podcast

Preserving the Legacy of Faithful Missionaries

The Missionary on Fire podcast features interviews with veteran missionaries, classic sermons from the field, and stories of God’s faithfulness across generations. If you love the heart behind these stories, you will love the podcast. New episodes regularly.

After we had played the game and put everything away, I went up to my room for a while. I came down around supper time. We had something that tasted just like chili, but Mrs. Angie said it was not chili. But, she did not know what to call it; so we are calling it chili. It was very good. I had two full bowls. Once we had finished eating, I helped wash and dry the dishes while Bro. Ruckman worked on his sermons for tomorrow and Mrs. Angie made smoothies for us all.

Once the kitchen was clean, I went into the living room to work on our puzzle we have had out for a few weeks now. Bro. Ruckman has accomplished a lot on it in the last two days, and I was able to get a lot done this evening also. Time really flies when you are working on a puzzle. I think I stood working at the table for over an hour and a half. Things are starting to come together, which is the most exciting part about puzzles.

I am now in my room, working on the blog. Once I am finished, I am off to get cleaned up and head to bed.
