This morning, I woke up at 7:20 or so. After awhile, I went downstairs. I did not hear or see anyone; so, I went back up to my room for another hour or so. Once I heard the Ruckmans moving about, I went downstairs. We had cereal for breakfast and then got ready for our day.
We had some shopping to do for Friday’s Christmas with some missionary families. We also had some last-minute Christmas shopping to accomplish. We spent most of the day going from place to place. Mrs. Angie and I had pizza for lunch, and Bro. Ruckman had a sandwich with fries. I also got a haircut while we were out.
After a long morning and afternoon, we headed back to the house. We all got a nap in, but mine was not a very long one. I had decided to take a nap on the front porch on the deck furniture. I had been asleep for a few minutes when some boys started knocking on the gate. They wanted to talk to Bro. Ruckman. Well, since he was taking a nap, I told the boys he could not come right away. They then asked for water, which I gave them; they, they went on their way.
After my short nap, Bro. Ruckman was ready to head back out to get a few more things. We had some last minute shopping to do; so, Mrs. Angie could not come along. When we got back to the house, we enjoyed some delicious burgers and fries, then sat in the living room and watched a movie. We have now parted ways for the evening, and I am finishing up the blog. Once I am done, I will be getting cleaned up and then heading off to bed.
I am not sure what tomorrows plans are, but I am sure it is going to be another action packed day!!!
