Thanksgiving Fun!!!

This morning, right as I finished reading my Bible, the power went off. We had warning that the power would be off from 9 until 5, and the power went off promptly at 9:00 A.M. As soon as I had finished getting ready, I went downstairs. 

Mrs. Angie was getting things ready for the day. I sat in the dining room for a while. After a while, Bro. Ruckman and I took some stuff over to the Kenneys’ house. We stayed to help them fry the turkey. After we had fried one turkey, Bro. Ruckman and another boy and I went home to help Mrs. Angie load some stuff up. After we had gotten everything loaded up, we turned the generator off and went to the Kenneys’ house. 

We got there just as they had finished frying the second turkey. We then sat around and fellowshipped while we waited for another missionary family to get to the house. After they arrived, we talked for another little while. We ended up getting to spend the entire day with three missionary families. 

We had a good time. We are currently still at the Kenneys’ house. A few of us guys are playing around outside. It is currently 8:16 P.M. It feels very nice outside although there are a lot of mosquitoes. Once we get home, we will be heading to bed.
