Bonjour,
Joe was feeling a little better when he got up this morning. He took the kids to school. Then, he took the vehicle to the mechanic. By the time he got the vehicle checked in, his energy level had dropped back down to 0%. He left the vehicle there and came home in a taxi.
Dan brought the kids home from school in a taxi. Joe called the mechanic shop, and they said that the vehicle was ready. So, he rode the taxi back into town. The taxi had a blow out. He put the spare on and had another blow out. So, Joe continued on to the mechanic in a different taxi. When he got to the mechanic shop, they had not done anything to our vehicle at all. Joe was not a happy camper. Apparently the manager was not in today; so, they could not check with him about fixing it since it was their error. Joe brought the car home for the night.
Bonnie said that she had to go to the office today for removing her shoe and playing with her sock. She had some bug bites on her leg underneath her sock. She said that the principal just talked to her and sent her back to class.
While Joe was gone, Bonnie came running in and said, "Mom, you've got to come; it's important!" Thumper had taken off down the hill, and Gilbert followed him. Gilbert climbed up on a big dirt pile and was afraid to come down. Danny charged up the hill, took Gilbert by the hand, and showed him how to get down. The dog came back home with us.
Joe is all done in this evening. It is going to take a while to get that antibiotic that caused the allergic reaction out of his system.
We got word yesterday that our resident visas are in. We just need to go pick them up.
A demain,
Joe, Laura, Gilbert, Danny, and Bonnie
