Bonjour,

Joe took a taxi into town today to check on the vehicle.  They had not done any work on it on Saturday, but they did work on it all day today.  It still isn’t finished, but at least they seem to be making some progress.  Tomorrow is Joe’s birthday; it would be a good present to get his car back on his birthday!

We did school this morning.  Gilbert is struggling with putting words together when reading, but I am sure he will catch on eventually.  Danny gets his “books” out and goes right through them because they are just letters of the alphabet and not words.  Bonnie was working on one of Danny’s books today.

Joe came home for lunch and then went back into town to sit at the mechanic’s shop for a while.  After naps, I walked up to the Luthers’ house with the kids.  I visited with Julie and April while the kids played.  Then, I headed home to work on supper.

After supper, the kids kept asking for something else to eat.  They wanted to eat everything in sight.  I guess they are all growing.

A demain,

Joe, Laura, Gilbert, Danny, and Bonnie
