Bonjour,

Happy Valentine’s Day!

The Post boys had sent some Valentines for the kids.  I gave the Valentines to the boys this morning.  Gilbert carried his around all day.  He said, “Mom, I sure like these Valentines.”  Gilbert wanted to make sure that Bonnie got to see hers too.  All that Bonnie wanted to do was eat them.

I had also gotten a couple little things for the kids.  The boys were excited about the chocolate.  Danny wanted to eat his before breakfast.  I got some chocolate-covered almonds for Joe; of course, I had to sample some of those.  : )

Joe went visiting this morning.  Mr. Omega’s oldest daughter got saved this morning.  (Mr. Omega is the famous comedian who we have mentioned before.  His wife comes to our church.  Mr. Omega has promised to come a few times but hasn’t come yet.)

I tried a new recipe today.  I made a Sweetheart Fudge Pie.  I invited Lenell over for our Valentine supper.  We had fajitas and then pie.

Gilbert wanted to play a game after supper.  I got one of their new games out that we hadn’t played yet.  It was called Cooking Cookies.  It has spoons with suction cups that you slam on the ingredient circles to pick them up off the table.  We all had great fun with that.  Joe was helping Danny.  Lenell had Bonnie “helping” her, and I was helping Gilbert.  The object of the game is to try to get all five of your ingredients first.  If you choose a rotten egg, you have to yell, “Rotten egg!” and put all of your ingredients back in the middle.  When Danny got the rotten egg, he kept saying, “Old maid!”  Gilbert and I were the only ones who didn’t win a round, but we had fun.

A demain,

Joe, Laura, Gilbert, Danny, and Bonnie
