Bonjour,

This morning, I was working on breakfast. Danny kept getting right
under my feet. I said, "Danny, why do you get under my skin?" He said,
"Sorry I take your skin away, Mom." We had to laugh about that one.

We got some things done around the house. Lenell came at 10:30 to watch
the kids for us.

Joe took me into town for Valentine's Day today. We stopped at the
driver's license office and picked up Joe's permanent Ivorian license.
Then, we met Dan and Jennifer Post at La Trattoria, an Italian
restaurant. The food was delicious, and we had a very good time. We
sat there and talked for a couple hours.

Joe and Dan dropped Jennifer and I off at the mall while they went to
run some errands. Our car battery was totally dead; they went to get a
new battery and do a couple other things. Jennifer and I looked in a
couple stores. Then, we went grocery shopping. We sat down at a
restaurant and waited for the guys to get back. We had fun talking.

We got home a little after 18:00 due to traffic and heavy rain. The
children were all happy to see us, especially Bonnie. She did good
until the last hour. She stopped crying as soon as I picked her up.

The power went off for about thirty minutes while we were gone. Gilbert
helped Lenell find the matches, candles, and flashlights.

We moved Bonnie's bed into the office tonight. That will be her
"bedroom" for the time being.

Tonight, we discovered that Bonnie's first two teeth had just broken
through. Maybe that is why she hasn't been sleeping well.

A demain,

Joe, Laura, Gilbert, Danny, and Bonnie
