Bonjour,

We had a good day at church.  This morning, we promoted the seven and eight year olds out of my class up to the next class.  So, I had ten for Sunday School and fifteen for Junior Church.  We have been working on learning the ten commandments.  I had told the class that the first five people to say all ten commandments without any help would win a special prize.  Today, Danny and Gilbert were the first two to say all ten.  Now, I have to decide what the special prize will be so that I can present it to them next week.  Bonnie said that when she says all ten, she wants a baby doll that makes a crying noise.
There are twin three-year-old girls who have been coming for the past couple weeks.  Danny wanted to sit next to them today.  He really likes the little kids.  Bonnie was upset because she wanted to sit by her brother.  They made room for her on the bench.
Joe has been going through the church constitution in the adult Sunday School class.  There are several young adults in there.  They were talking about abortion.  People started asking questions, and Joe ended up talking about purity.  Many of them have never been taught anything about that subject.  Joe was able to answer quite a few questions before they ran out of time.
The morning service went well.  Dan's dad visited again today.  Continue to pray for him; he is a devout Catholic and needs to be saved.
This evening during the testimony time, Danny raised his hand and was thankful that he was saved and that he could put his trust in Jesus.  His voice got shaky, and he had tears in his eyes as he said it.  He can be so ornery at times, but he has such a tender heart.  Joe preached out of Psalm 119:165.  It was a good sermon.  There were eighteen in attendance tonight.
Please pray for our pastor and his family.  Brother Dodson's mother died yesterday, and the funeral will be tomorrow.
A demain,
Joe, Laura, Gilbert, Danny, and Bonnie
