Bonjour!
This morning, Danny was doing much better. His leg wasn’t red anymore, and the swelling had gone down. So, we didn’t take him to the doctor.
We got some things done around the house before the Wideners arrived. They got here about 10:45. Stacy called a taxi, and we left around 11:00. The men kept all the kids at home. It was a ladies’ day out. We both needed to do some Christmas shopping. We shopped for awhile. Then, we went for lunch. Joe gave me money to take Stacy out to lunch. Then, we continued our shopping.
Joe held the fort at home. They had hotdogs for lunch. Then, they had beans and rice for supper.

Gilbert had a great time with the Widener kids. Joe had a good time of fellowship with Brother Widener. Joe said that Danny slept most of the day, but he wasn’t in his bed. The Wideners all took turns holding him.
Stacy and I had a blast. It definitely didn’t feel like Christmas weather! I was sweating up a storm. We went to Captain Hooks for lunch. Stacy is quite the bargainer. The people would tell her a price, and she would look at them as if they had offended her and say, “No, that’s too much!” She could usually get them to come down to about half of their starting price. We got home a little before 7:00. The taxi driver that we had goes to one of the Baptist churches here in Takoradi. He drove us around all day and kept our bags in his trunk.
A demain,
Joe, Laura, Gilbert, and Danny
