Bonjour,
When we got up this morning, we discovered that we had no dial tone on
the phone line. Joe started checking things out. Someone stole part of
the phone cable in the night. Joe went into Anyama to pick up the swing
set. He went to the phone company too. They said that they knew there
was a problem and that they would try to have it repaired by the
beginning of the new year. Hopefully they will get it replaced sooner
than that.
The boys were really excited about the swing set. They waited until it
was set up so that they could swing. It was very hot this morning; so,
they came inside. As soon as they came back in, Danny said, "You want
to go swing, Gilbert?"
I worked in the kitchen this morning to get things ready to take to
Lenell's house. She invited us and the Engelharts for lunch. The food
was delicious. We enjoyed the time of fellowship.

Lenell and the Engelharts had gifts for everyone. The boys were excited
to get to open a present. Bonnie didn't know what to think about it all.
Danny and Bonnie took a short nap. Gilbert fell asleep when we got home.
Joe wasn't feeling well at all this afternoon. After resting this
afternoon and evening, he is feeling a little better.
A demain,
Joe, Laura, Gilbert, Danny, and Bonnie
