Shopping and House Projects

This morning, I got up, got ready, and went downstairs. I ate breakfast and enjoyed the cool morning. After the Ruckmans came down and ate breakfast, we had our devotions. Then, we quickly got ready to leave to do our grocery shopping.

We had a really good time while we were out. I think we went to just about every grocery store and market. While we were out, we had Pizza Hut for lunch. I was also able to find a bag that I have been wanting for the past few weeks.

After a very long day of shopping, we all got home and took a rest. After our rest, it was time to get supper going and all that good stuff. We found some pre-seasoned burger patties while we were out. For supper, Bro. Ruckman grilled them, and Mrs. Angie made french fries. The burger patties were pretty good for a quick and easy meal, and the French fries tasted amazing, as usual.

After supper, Mrs. Angie did some things in the kitchen while Bro. Ruckman and I did some work outside and in the garage. Just as we were about to finish, the wind started picking up. You could see all the dust flying everywhere. Once we had finished outside, I came up to my room; about ten minutes later, it started raining a little bit. This is the first precipitation that we have had in probably two months; so it was nice while it lasted. I am now about to get cleaned up and then head to bed after a long day.
