This morning after I woke up, I got ready for the day and headed downstairs. I waited until the Ruckmans came down before I had breakfast. Mrs. Angie kindly made some toast and eggs for me. After breakfast, we had our devotions; then, I headed up to my room to do some cleaning. While I was cleaning my room, Bro. Ruckman was having meetings with some of the pastors about the upcoming events.

Preserving the Legacy of Faithful Missionaries
The Missionary on Fire podcast features interviews with veteran missionaries, classic sermons from the field, and stories of God’s faithfulness across generations. If you love the heart behind these stories, you will love the podcast. New episodes regularly.
By the time they were finished with their meeting, it was time for lunch. After lunch, I went up to my room for a while. We did not have any projects for the afternoon; so, it was pretty slow. I was able to complete a project for Bro. Ruckman on my computer.
After the slow afternoon, it was time to eat supper and get ready for church. Once we were ready, we were out the door. Before church started, I was able to rescue two doves that were trapped in one of the Sunday school rooms. It took some convincing to make the kids let me save them. They wanted to take them home as pets; but I told them if they did that, they would probably die. Once I rescued the birds, we set up church outside because the power went out. We had a nice cool service, and the preaching and singing were really good.
After the service, I played with the kids for a good while before it was time for us to go. I had a lot of fun playing with them. We are now home, and thankfully the power is on. I am about to get a cool shower and head to bed. Tomorrow, we are taking the dog to the vet to make sure she is all right. She lost a lot of weight while the Ruckmans were gone.
