Bonjour,
This morning, we had a lot of action around here. The electrician came to get money for materials to run the wires for Lenell’s apartment. Then, the carpenter came to varnish the cabinets that were delivered on Saturday. It was hot enough today for him! The mason came to lay a foundation to set up our pool in the backyard. Joe was out there with them most of the morning. He got sunburned. The Litson girls came over to play so that Sarah could work on packing. So, we had plenty going on this morning.
Joe went to the doctor this afternoon. He only has to use the inhaler once a day now. The doctor was pleased with his progress.
When Joe got back in the vehicle to head home, the clutch was all the way on the floor. So, he drove all the way back to Anyama without a clutch. This was the first time that our mechanic has worked on the clutch. Joe said that it works much better than it ever has now.
Lenell had supper with the Litsons tonight. Then, they showed her how to lock the doors and everything at their house since she will be staying there for awhile.
We are headed to Bassam in the morning. Lenell, the boys, and I will stay with the Posts while Joe goes on to Bonoua to make some more contacts. So, I made a cake tonight to take with us tomorrow. Gilbert was hoping to sample the cake tonight, but he didn’t get to.
Danny was saying new words left and right today. His ball went under the rocking horse. He was having difficulty getting his ball out. He said, “Oh man!” We were talking about baby Bonnie tonight. Danny came and pointed at my stomach and said, “Bonnie.”
