W'apow mu e,
I had another bout with kidney stones during the night last night. The pain finally subsided, and I was able to get some sleep. Joe got up and made the kids' lunches for school and breakfast.
We kept Gilbert home today to make sure that he was feeling better after vomiting so many times yesterday. It must have been the heat that got him yesterday because he was definitely back to normal today.
I spent most of the day in the kitchen preparing for the group coming for supper. Joe seasoned the new charcoal grill and got it ready to grill hamburgers.

We ate supper outside under the gazebo. There was a nice breeze out there. The smoke from the grill stirred Danny's asthma up.
We had a good time of fellowship with the group of men and the Nixon family. We had enough food; I always wonder if we will have enough, but we always do.
The election results will start at midnight here. I don't know if I will make it that long.
Nantsew yie!
