This morning, Gilbert woke up not feeling well. Bonnie said, "Well, I guess that means there will only be three white people at church today!" Gilbert and Laura slept almost all day.
We had a good morning at church. It was a little rainy and a little cool (below 85 degrees). All the ladies were asking me to turn the ceiling fans off!
As I was preaching this morning I saw a little boy trying to escape from junior church. The next thing I saw was Danny flying by the window and tackled the boy and then he drug him back past the window. Since Laura was sick, there was only one worker in junior church and she asked Danny to make sure that everyone had come back from the bathroom. Sometimes it is hard to preach and watch the sideshow going on in the church yard!
I fixed chicken and dumplings for lunch. I make the chicken soup last night and I just plopped some dumplings in the pot when I got home from church. The kids ate the whole pot! Danny had three bowls full.
Laura is starting to feel some better. She is just going to have to take it easy and get all the way better! I hope that Gilbert is not coming down with it now. Please pray for Laura and Gilbert.
Nantsew yie!
Joe, Laura, Gilbert, Danny, and Bonnie
