Bonjour,

Joe took the kids to school.  Then, we started the cleaning process.  My helper came today to help get rid of all the cement dust.  We got our bedroom emptied, cleaned, and put back together.  I also got everything from the kids’ room wiped down and put back away.  Joe made the boys’ beds into bunk beds and did some rearranging with the dressers.  I got everything put back in its place in the kitchen too.  Getting rid of cement dust throughout the whole house is one way to go about doing “spring cleaning.”

The welder came and finished the work today.  One of the hinges on the back gate had to be cemented again; it must have gotten knocked loose and did not set up right.  The carpenter also came this afternoon and put a door on the bathroom in the bedroom.

Gilbert said that they started exams today.  We did not know he was having any exams.  He said that he has five more next week.  Neither one of the boys had any homework for the weekend.  Danny has not had homework all week.  Bonnie wanted to get her homework done as soon as she came in the door.

Gilbert and Danny have been wanting to make a fire outside.  Joe helped them do that this afternoon.  They gathered up the dry grass that LF had recently cut.  Gilbert was doing a little jig when the flames shot up.  I never played with matches or even wanted to light matches; Gilbert must take after his father in that regard!
