Bonjour,
This morning, I worked in the kitchen most of the morning. We had invited the Litsons and the Engelharts over for lunch since the Litsons and Margie were both flying out tonight. The Engelharts decided not to come for lunch; so, we had plenty.
Pray for Bob Engelhart. He is down with malaria. He has been sick for a week or so. He had been taking some medicine, but it wasn’t helping. He went to the doctor this afternoon and found out that the medicine he had been taking wasn’t strong enough for the strain of malaria that he has. So, he is on some different medications now.
We had a good time of fellowship with the Litsons at lunch. We tried to get a nap in after they left. Danny had fallen asleep before lunch; so, he woke up just as we were going to take a nap. Joe played with him for awhile before he had to leave to go put fuel in the vehicle. So, I did get a short nap in.
We went over to say goodbye to the Litsons. I was crying, and Gilbert wanted to know what was wrong. Then, when Joe got in the vehicle, Gilbert and Danny both started crying. Danny was upset that he was being left behind. Gilbert was upset because he thought Daddy was going to go on the airplane too. When we prayed for supper, he asked me why Daddy was going to go with the girls on the airplane. I told him that Daddy was coming back home and that he had just taken them to the airport. So, both boys were very relieved to see Daddy when he got home.
Margie’s flight left later than the Litsons’ flight. So, Joe and Romeo stayed around to see Margie off as well.
Lenell went to the Anyama church. A couple in the church has a vehicle; they came to pick her up since everyone else was at the airport. Joe got home after Lenell did.
Tammy Aurand has been having car trouble. She is bringing her vehicle out here tomorrow so that Joe can take it to our mechanic. Lenell is going to move over to the Litsons’ house tomorrow. Tammy is going to spend the night with Lenell tomorrow night.

We told Gilbert tonight that Lenell would be moving over to the girls’ house to take care of their house for them. We told him that we would go to visit her. It hasn’t really sunk in yet that the Litsons will be gone for a year. He said today that he would see them in a little bit after they went on the airplane.
A demain,
Joe, Laura, Gilbert, and Danny
