On Saturday afternoon, we had a big storm.  Danny had a bowl outside as his rain gauge.  He had to retreat to the porch because the wind was too strong for his bowl to stay put.
During the storm, George, our guard, found a turtle.  The kids were so excited.  They had it barricaded in on the porch.  They got to keep it for a day.  Then, they had to let it go so that it could go find its family.  Danny was so sad about setting the turtle free.  Before we let it go, they wanted to write their names and “Goodbye Freddy” on the bottom of the turtle’s shell.
