Bonjour,

Joe made it home safely this evening.  Thank you for your prayers for his safety!  He had a great trip.

I told the boys this morning that Daddy was coming home tonight.  So, it has been a day full of questions.

We got things cleaned up around the house.  I made some wholewheat bread for Joe.

I got the boys to take a nap.  But, I told them that we would leave after naps to go get Daddy. So, Gilbert’s nap didn’t last long.  Then, he still had two hours to wait before we headed to the airport.

Bob and Margie took us to the airport.  We got to the airport about forty minutes before the flight arrived.  The flight was a little late.

The boys were so happy to see Daddy at the airport.  Bob took them upstairs; they could see Joe down in the baggage claim area.  Joe said that he heard Gilbert squeal all the way down there.  Gilbert was trying to figure out how he could get down there where Daddy was.  Both boys were so excited when Joe finally came out with his bags.  Gilbert said, “Daddy, I’ve been looking for you.”  Danny hugged him and kept saying, “Daddy, Daddy!”  Bonnie grinned at Daddy.

When we got home, Daddy got out the presents that he had bought.  The boys got a big tool set with a little work bench and drill for each of them.  Bonnie got a little giraffe with a squeeker in it.  I got some chocolates.

A demain,

Joe, Laura, Gilbert, Danny, and Bonnie
