Bonjour,

The kids and I did school this morning.  We are moving right along with the pages.  By the end of next week, we should be just about caught up.
Joe and Dan went into Abidjan this morning.  The main reason was to begin the paperwork for the stuff that we had shipped here.  It is scheduled to arrive in the next few days.  The contact that we had been given just had one piece of paperwork, and they are not able to help in getting it out of port.  So, Joe and Dan went to the person who has helped us get containers out of port in the past.  She was glad to see them and happy to help.
Joe and Dan were also able to get a few groceries.  They got a 50 kilo bag of sugar to split between the two families.
Their trip went okay.  They said that everyone is a bit tense.
Bonnie came in from playing outside, and her feet were dirty.  I washed her feet in the sink.  Then, I was holding on to her to dry her feet.  She was struggling to get loose.  She said, "Mom, you're holding my heart!"
Before lunch, Gilbert came in and asked, "What did I do wrong today?"  I told him that he had hit Danny and that he had been whining.  He said, "I didn't hit him so hard."
At lunch, Danny was in tears as he said, "Why can't I ever be older than Gilbert?  I'm just frustrated about this!"
The US Embassy sent out an e-mail saying that if you were planning to go somewhere for the holidays that you should leave now.  So, I think they are expecting something to happen within the next few days.  Please keep praying!
A demain,
Joe, Laura, Gilbert, Danny, and Bonnie
