Bonjour,

We had a good but quick trip to Ivory Coast.  We left the house a little after 6:00 yesterday morning.  We got to the Posts' house around noon.
Joe's tooth started bothering him again on our way there.  He had a toothache a couple weeks ago, but the pain had subsided.
Jennifer had lunch ready for us when we got there.  In the afternoon, Joe and Dan went into Abidjan.  Joe went to the dentist.  The tooth was infected and needs a root canal.  The dentist put a temporary filling in it and started Joe on an antibiotic.  Joe has to go back next month to have the inspection done on the vehicle.  So, he will have the root canal when he goes back in November.  He is not supposed to eat on that side of his mouth.  That will be a fun month!
I sorted some more stuff to decide what to take back with us this time.  The kids had fun playing with the Post boys.
After supper, we played a couple games of Dutch Blitz with the Posts.  We had a good time of fellowship with them.
Joe's mouth was hurting when he he woke up this morning.  After he ate breakfast and took his medicine, he felt better.  We left about 10:00 to head back to Ghana.  The border crossing went faster today.  It only took about thirty minutes to get the car papers processed instead of two hours like it did last time.  That was a blessing.
We got back to Takoradi about 4:00.  We got the vehicle unloaded.  The kids ran off some energy.
After supper, we watched Monk.  The kids picked up their room before bed time.  Danny loves to make forts.  He gets all of the little boxes that have their toys in them out to make his fort.  Then, they all have to be put away.  He forgets that part sometimes.
A demain,
Joe, Laura, Gilbert, Danny, and Bonnie
