Bonjour,

Today Joe had to go to the border to renew the car papers.  Gilbert heard us talking about Joe making it back in time to pick them up from school.  Gilbert said, "Mom, I don't want to go to school if Dad can't pick me up."  I told him that if Daddy wasn't back, I would come in a taxi.  Gilbert was satisfied to know that someone would be there; he did not cry today.
Joe dropped the kids off at school and then headed to the border.  He got to the border about 9:45.  It took over an hour to get the car papers.  Then, he headed back to Takoradi.  He got back home at 2:00.  He left the house at 2:30 to go get the kids from school.
I spent the day sorting toys and getting some of the toys put away to be stored in the garage for a while.  The kids had sorted toys yesterday and dumped them all into a big box.  The boys had dumped Bonnie's dishes in the box, and she wanted those out this morning.  So, I had to dump the whole box and resort everything.
One of the teachers and her children ride to school and back with Joe and the kids.  On the way home, she said that Bonnie's whole class had to go to the office today.  We asked Bonnie about it, and she said that she wasn't in trouble.  So, we don't know what happened.  It must not have been anything too serious.  : )
Gilbert said that the pastor came into their classroom with the paddle today. He asked Gilbert if he wanted a spanking, and Gilbert told him no.
Danny did not take a nap today and was all out of sorts this evening.  He still has a cold and was too tired.  We got homework done although it was a tearful time for Danny.  Bonnie did not have any homework tonight.  Gilbert's homework from yesterday got a "Teacher perfect!" comment.  That made Joe and Danny ill.
A demain,
Joe, Laura, Gilbert, Danny, and Bonnie
