W'apow mu e,
Joe went up to the church for the work day this morning. The kids and I stayed home. I needed to work on getting caught up on the laundry after not having water for a couple days. Joe and the two men who have come the past couple weeks were the only ones there. Joe said that he was breaking up some cement posts with a sixteen pound sledge hammer, and the wooden handle shattered in his hands. Stephen cut his thumb on the rebar as he was on the down swing with a normal hammer.
The kids did some cleaning. Then, they played outside most of the morning. I got some practice in on the keyboard.
Joe worked in the office this afternoon. He went to have some copies made.

We all went up to the church this evening for music practice. The two songs for the funeral are coming together. We will meet a couple more times during the week to practice. The funeral is a week from today.
Danny is still counting down the days until his birthday. "In six more days I'll be six, Mom! Six days and six years, that's funny!"
Nantsew yie!
