Bonjour,

Today is Gilbert’s birthday.  All three kids were in my room before 6:00 this morning asking when the Posts were coming.

Gilbert had requested biscuits and gravy for breakfast.  He helped me make the biscuits.  Bonnie could only watch because Gilbert said that she wasn’t the birthday girl.

I made hotdog buns after breakfast.  They didn’t rise this time.  They still tasted okay though.

The Posts got here about 10:00.  The two Walker boys came with them.  Our kids were excited to see everyone.  Dan went back into town to run some errands.

Julie came down to get the cake to decorate it for me.  Jennifer helped me get things ready.  Becky and Kristine came around 11:45.  The Luthers got here a little after noon.

It rained off and on throughout the day.  I didn’t know if it was going to work to roast hotdogs.  I cooked some of the hotdogs inside.  The kids that wanted to roast one got to do that.  Charlie helped the kids outside.  While all the kids were outside, the ladies got to fix their plates and eat in peace before everyone came back inside.  It was nice to get to fellowship with the ladies.

The Luthers left about 2:30, and the Posts left about 3:00.  Gilbert was sad to see everyone leave.  Bonnie fell asleep on the couch after everyone left.

Joe had a good day.  He met with the misisonaries in Wa today.  They said that we will find out about taking care of the guest house within two weeks.

After supper, the kids took baths.  We read a couple books.  The boys were asleep seconds after they hit their pillows.  Bonnie is still awake since she took a nap later in the day.

A demain,

Joe, Laura, Gilbert, Danny, and Bonnie
