Bonjour,

We had a good day at church.  People trickled in, but we had a good group by church time.
I started out with just my three in my class but ended up with twenty-five.  My helper did not come today.  Sunday school went okay because I didn't have many.  A lady offered to help me for junior church, and I was glad that she did.  It helps to have a Fante speaker in the class because most of the kids in my class have not been to school yet and speak very little English if any.
After church, we went home, ate lunch, took naps, and got ready to go back to church.  We are still learning Scripture songs during the evening services.  We also have started learning a Fante hymn during the evening services.  We are working on "What A Friend We Have in Jesus" right now.  I also play my clarinet for the evening song services.  So, I haven't picked up on all of the words yet.  I can sing that song in Russian, French, and English; I'll know it in a fourth language soon, I hope.  : )
Joe has been preaching about Gideon for the past few Sunday nights.  The boys get excited hearing about Gideon going to war.  Sometimes Joe asks questions during his sermon, but he isn't really looking for an answer.  Danny always throws the answer out there at the top of his voice.
Bonnie took it upon herself to try to make some children behind her behave and got herself into trouble.  She was sitting with one of the ladies in the church.  She got up, went to the kids in the row behind her, and was trying to make the kids bow their heads when she was caught in the act.  We weren't praying; I'm not sure why she thought they needed to bow their heads.  She had to sit with Mommy after that.
A demain,
Joe, Laura, Gilbert, Danny, and Bonnie
