Bonjour,

Joe made it home safely. It took a little longer than normal at the border because there were a lot of people crossing the border today. He got home just in time for supper.

Margie had Joanna at her house this morning while the other girls were doing school. She came to see if Gilbert could go over there and play. He liked that. He stayed over there until lunch time. Danny took a long nap. So, I did some organizing and rearranging in our bedroom.

Gilbert and I ate lunch. Danny woke up just as I was going to put Gilbert down for his nap. Gilbert wanted to play with Danny for a little while. When I put him down for his nap, he still didn’t think he was ready for a nap. Gilbert was crying, and Danny went back there to see what he could do. He stood up at Gilbert’s door and was “talking” to Gilbert through the closed door. Gilbert was saying, “Baby, Come in! Baby, open the door. Play with Gilbert.” I took Danny back out to the living room, and Gilbert eventually went to sleep.

After their naps, we went for a walk. Just after we got back from our walk, Joe got home. We were all happy to see him. The boys have been bouncing around all evening.

Thank you for your prayers for safety for Joe and Dan!

A demain,

Joe, Laura, Gilbert, and Danny
