Bonjour!

Today, I worked on sorting clothes. Danny took a long nap this morning and this afternoon. Maybe he is getting back on schedule. Gilbert was quite a helper! : )

Joe had a long day on his trip back to Ivory Coast. The vehicle ran fine, but they got stopped at every checkpoint between here and Takoradi, Ghana. They were at the border for over two hours. They had to talk to a customs official this time and pay for taking things across the border. Then, the police at each checkpoint wanted money too. Joe said that he finally just started laughing and telling them that their “brothers” at the last barrage took all of his money and that they would have to see them to get their share.

A demain,

Joe, Laura, Gilbert, and Danny
