Bonjour!
Today, we rode with the Litsons to Bassam to the Posts’ house. We stopped at the grocery store on our way. We left the groceries at the Posts’ house. Then, we all went to the ocean for a picnic. It was a lot of fun. Everyone had a great time.
Gilbert is still a little afraid of the water. If we walked out in the water holding him, that was fine. If we tried to put him in the water, he held on tightly with his legs and arms saying, “No! No! Obey!”

Danny discovered the sand. He thought that was great. He was on a blanket, but he didn’t stay on it for long. He had both hands in the sand before we knew it. While one had was being emptied, he was scooping up more sand with the other hand and putting it in his mouth.
When we got home, Margie Engelhart told us that the water had been off all day and that the power had been off several times as well. The power has gone off several times since we’ve been home. We got just enough water for baths before the water went back off again. We don’t have our water tank set up yet here. So, that will be one of our next projects!
A demain,
Joe, Laura, Gilbert, and Danny
