Bonjour,
We are praying about where God would have us start a church after we return from the States in January. Joe went to the town of Bonua today to check it out as a possibility. Bonua is past Bassam, the town where the Posts live. So, Gilbert got to go along. He stayed and played with the Post boys while Dan Post went with Joe to Bonua.
Danny took a nap this morning and another one this afternoon. So, I was able to get a few things done while he was asleep.
While Joe and Gilbert were in the car today on the way to Bassam, out of the blue Gilbert just started counting. He counted to ten. We have worked on it a little, but he has never counted from one to ten without missing a number or two. He usually skips two, but today he didn’t. He even did it again for Jennifer when they got to the Posts’ house. He tried to do it for me when they got home this evening, but he must have been a little tired because he didn’t quite make it to ten without assistance; he made it to seven.

Joe showed me the video that he took of Bonua. It is a good-sized town. There are no Baptist churches there. The previous mayor was Catholic; if you weren’t Catholic, you weren’t welcome. The new mayor is very open minded. If invited, he will visit any church.
Please pray with us about the town where God would have us start a church. Joe will be going to some other towns in the next couple weeks.
A demain,
Joe, Laura, Gilbert, and Danny
