We had a bit of excitement before we left the house for church this morning. Joe went into the garage to get some of my Sunday school stuff. The light bulb had burned out in the garage; so, he had a flashlight in his hand. He stepped on something. When he looked down, it was a snake. He quickly came out of the garage. We all got in the vehicle, and he parked the car out on the street.
Joe called our guard to come help him. Bob and his guard came from across the street. They killed the snake with machetes that were attached to long sticks. It was a five-foot black mamba. It had gotten in through a small hole in the garage door. Tomorrow, there will be a deep cleaning of the garage, and the hole will be fixed.

We had good services today. There were 77 in attendance this morning and 31 this evening.
After church tonight, we went to Lenell’s apartment. She made spaghetti for supper. After supper, she cut my hair. It has been so hot the past couple weeks. It has been around 110 degrees every day.
A demain,
Joe, Laura, Gilbert, Danny, and Bonnie
