Bonjour,
Joe went visiting this morning. He walked all the way to the church because he could not find a taxi. Then, they walked all over to make their visits. They walked all the way back to our turn off before they found a taxi on the way home. Joe was not coming home though; he was going to the mechanic to check on our vehicle. Our vehicle was ready! Joe waited around for them to finish Brother Arthur's vehicle; he came home for a while. Then, he took Brother Arthur back to get his car; they had to wait a while because it still was not ready.
The kids and I did some cleaning. Then, the kids played outside with the Bible Club kids. We had thirty-six for Bible Club today. Some older boys came today just as we were getting started; they had planned on just playing soccer. I told them that they had to come to Bible Club first; then, they could play soccer. They were cutting up a little during the lesson. I told them that they could sit quietly and listen or they could leave without playing soccer. They decided upon the first option.
I made pizza for supper. I also made some banana crumb muffins; everyone liked those except for Danny; he is not fond of bananas.
All of our Christmas decorations are still in Ivory Coast. We had found a Christmas tree in the garage. We tried to set it up tonight, but there was no tree stand. Joe will have to come up with one, but we couldn't put the tree up tonight. Gilbert was disappointed.
After supper, I played a couple rounds of Skipbo Jr. with Danny and Bonnie. Gilbert decided to play too after he heard Danny laughing about winning.
A demain,
Joe, Laura, Gilbert, Danny, and Bonnie
