Bonjour,
Lenell took the boys up to her apartment this morning. Bonnie was awake most of the morning. I was able to get some things done around the house. I worked on sorting some things in the garage for awhile.
Lenell brought the boys home for their naps and went back to her apartment for awhile. The boys didn’t want to go to sleep, but they finally did. Bonnie slept at the same time they did today. So, we all got a nap.
This evening, I made pizza for supper. I also made some bread. Gilbert was helping me make the bread. Danny was doing dishes. What great helpers! We ended up with flour and soap suds everywhere.
Lenell came back for supper. Margie came over to visit after supper.
We talked to Joe a couple times today. They went to Belgium yesterday and are staying there for a couple days. They went to the American Military Cemetery in Luxembourg today. When the man in the office heard that they had a Battle of the Bulge veteran with them, he came out with a golf cart to give him a tour. So, Bill Lair and Bob Macy rode in the golf cart and got a tour. After that, they did a 21 gun salute and lowered the flag. Someone from the US Embassy presented Bill Lair with the flag.
On Sunday, they will be at a military church in Bitburg, Germany. Dr. Vineyard will be preaching in the morning, and Bill Lair and Bob Macy will be speaking in the evening.
The Posts have invited the children and I to come stay with them for a few days. We will ride into town with the Engelharts tomorrow and meet Dan in town. Then, he will take us home on Monday. The boys are excited about spending time with the Post boys.
A demain,
Joe, Laura, Gilbert, Danny, and Bonnie
