This morning, I woke up at 7:00. The power went out at 7:02 unfortunately. There is not much that can be done when the power is out; so, I did my best to make the best of the day.
Bro. Ruckman and several of the local pastors had a meeting today. There meeting was a few hours long; so, I just tried to stay out of the way and tried to find things to do. I was able to go out and get our water jugs refilled. Once I got back and there meeting was over, we had some lunch. After lunch, Bro. Ruckman and I rested for a bit before we went out to make a visit.
Missionary on Fire Podcast
Preserving the Legacy of Faithful Missionaries
The Missionary on Fire podcast features interviews with veteran missionaries, classic sermons from the field, and stories of God’s faithfulness across generations. If you love the heart behind these stories, you will love the podcast. New episodes regularly.
Bro. Ruckman shared the full story on his Facebook; so, I’ll let you get the full read there. I will say that the man we visited with got saved. While Bro. Ruckman was talking to him about salvation, I sat and had a good time with several kids from the village. Once we had finished there, we went back to the house.
The power was still out when we got home; so, there was not much resting because of how hot it was. The power finally came back on at 5:23 P.M. We had corned beef and potatoes for supper while we watched a movie. Once we finished the movie, I headed up to my room for the evening.
I have just gotten cleaned up and am about to go to sleep.

Glad you have a great attitude and look for alternate things to do while it is so hot! We are praying that you will have power over the adversities. We love you!
