Another Busy Day at the Church

This morning, I got up, read my Bible, and got ready for the day. Once I had gotten ready, I went down for breakfast. I ate some pancakes, then got my water ready for the day. We left the house around 8:30 A.M. for the church.

Once we got to the church, everyone enjoyed their snack and coffee. I was not very hungry; so, I decided not to eat anything. We had three great sessions taught by Bro. Ruckman. Once we had finished the morning pastors’ conference sessions, we had a delicious meal. I am not really sure what it is called, but I know it was mainly rice. I ate a big plate of that because I was no longer not hungry.

Once we finished lunch, Bro. Ruckman and Mrs. Angie had a meeting with another missionary couple. So, I was left all alone because everyone else speaks only French. Bro. Keith was also in a meeting, and the boys had stayed home to do their schoolwork.

Once Bro. Keith finished his meeting, he and I went home because the Ruckmans were still in their meeting. (The other missionary couple brought them home.) Once I got home, I went up to my room and took a nap. I woke up to the sound of, “Supper is Ready.”

We had corned beef and eggs for supper. Everything was delicious. We then left the house at 6:30 P.M. for church. We had our evening missions conference, which was really good. Bro. Ruckman has been preaching some of the same things I preached to the youth on Saturday night. After the evening meeting, we all went home.

After we got home, we changed into more comfortable clothes and then played a few rounds of a game. The first round was practice because the Shumakers had never played the game. I got second place in the practice round, but I ended up winning the real game. I am very happy. It is currently 11:21 P.M. It is much later than I would like to be typing this, but the show must go on. I am now going to get cleaned up and head to bed.
