Bonjour,

Everything is calm in Abidjan once again. The president gave a speech
on Tuesday night. He lowered the food taxes and told the customs
officials to get the food containers out of the port.

We had a big rain storm early this morning. The thunder woke both of
the boys up early.

We went into Abidjan today. We went to the port first to check on our
progress on the paperwork for the container. They told us of some more
paperwork that we need to get together.

From there, we went to the grocery store. We ate lunch at the Lebanese
pizza place. Then, we had to go back to the store for dog food.

When we were at the store the first time, there were live lobsters on a
table in the fish section. Gilbert wanted to take a closer look. Just
as he got next to the table, one of the lobsters started flopping
around. Gilbert got out of there in a hurry. Instead of "lobsters,"
Gilbert was calling them "monsters."

When we went back to get dog food, we all stayed in the car except for
Joe. Gilbert was worried that the "monsters" were going to bite Daddy
while he was in the store. I told him that Daddy would be okay.

Both boys took a short nap on the way home. So, they didn't go back
down for a nap after we got home. They both fell asleep early this
evening.

A demain,

Joe, Laura, Gilbert, and Danny
