Bonjour,
Joe and Gilbert went to the church this morning. When they got home, Gilbert went to play at the Engelharts’ house. Margie said that Gilbert played her keyboard; he thought that was great. He is fascinated with that. Then, he played trucks for awhile.
Around noon, we took the Engelharts and Pastor Hamilton to Abidjan. We had pizza for lunch. Then, we took Pastor Hamilton to the airport. We have been telling Gilbert that we are going to go on an airplane. He thought that surely today was the day. We told him that we would be getting on an airplane three weeks from today; he didn’t quite understand. He doesn’t really like the airport because he always has to tell someone else “goodbye” there.
We stopped at a store and then headed home. There was a big storm just before we got home. A lot of our dirt road washed down the hill. It was quite a bumpy ride up to the house.

The boys both crashed early this evening. We tried to wake Gilbert up to eat supper, but he just went right back to sleep. They will probably be ready to go early in the morning!
I have been getting things ready for Danny’s birthday tomorrow. We are going to go celebrate with the Posts. They have five boys.
A demain,
Joe, Laura, Gilbert, and Danny
