Bonjour,

It has been a calm, quiet day.  The election results will be announced on Wednesday.  Please continue to pray for a peaceful outcome.

All three kids wanted to help me make breakfast this morning.  We had Dutch pancakes.  They took turns putting the ingredients in the bowl.  Then, they took turns stirring. Gilbert let Danny take over on the stirring and started the dishes.  Bonnie just wanted to be up where she could see and supervise.

This morning, a family that lives here in Bassam came to formally welcome us.  They have a baby boy that we hadn't met yet.  Danny loved the baby.  He wanted to hold him the whole time that they were here.

After they left, we had our church services with the Posts.  We listened to a sermon on CD.  It was a message by Brother Jeff Fugate entitled "A Greater Than God" out of 1 John 4.  It was a very good sermon and was an encouragement to us.  It is always good to be reminded that God is bigger than any problem we face.

After lunch, we took naps.  After naps, we went back over to the Posts' house.  We watched the news off and on.  Things seem to have gone smoothly today with the elections for the most part.  They will begin giving results as they get the votes counted.  The winner will be announced on Wednesday.

We shipped some things by pallet.  They are supposed to arrive in port on Thursday.  Please pray that everything will be in tact and that we will be able to get it out of port in a timely manner.

A demain,

Joe, Laura, Gilbert, Danny, and Bonnie
