Bonjour,
The power went off last night about 11:00 and did not come back on until 12:30 this afternoon. So, we just did the pages for school today instead of using the DVDs. We did have the generator going, but we didn't have everything running. The boys didn't mind. They like it when they just do pages because it doesn't take as long as the DVDs. But, they get a lot more practice when they watch the DVDs.
Everything seemed quiet and calm today. The election results are supposed to be announced sometime on Wednesday. We aren't sure what will happen when that announcement is made. No matter who wins, about half of the country is going to be upset. Please continue to pray.
I made pizza for everyone for supper tonight. Jennifer baked most of them in her oven so we could get them baked faster. We had a good time of fellowship.
The boys have been wanting to type messages to people. They just type a bunch of letters. Then, I ask them what they wanted to tell that person, and I type the translation. Gilbert was so cute when he was telling me what his message said. "I love you. I care for you. I want to get on the airplane to come see you, but I will have to travel all day and all night." One of Danny's messages was, "I like you so much that I love you." Bonnie wanted to type messages, but she kept hitting buttons that opened different screens. So, her messages didn't get sent.
At bed time, Gilbert wanted to know what day it was tomorrow and if we were having school. I told him that it is Tuesday and that we are having school. He said, "I hope that the power is off so that we can just do pages." I told him that I hoped the power was on!
A demain,
Joe, Laura, Gilbert, Danny, and Bonnie
