Same situation here. We just renewed our tourist visas for another three months to hopefully give us time to get our work permit paperwork to go through. Been working on all this for a year and a half! We applied for alien cards. BJ got his, and they somehow lost mine! So we just applied for mine again as well. Government paperwork is sure a slow going thing.
