Bonjour,
Gilbert wasn't feeling well last night or this morning, but he was feeling much better this afternoon.
Joe went up to the church for the day. They finished the ceiling in the auditorium and almost finished the library. They had to order some more materials, but they were delivered first thing this morning.
The kids and I worked on cleaning the house this morning. The kids have been helping me fold the laundry. Today, I had them take their piles to their room and put them away. I supervised, and they all did a good job. I told them that was their new job – to put their piles away every time we do laundry. Danny thought that "every time" was a bit extreme. : )
After the kids had been in bed for a little while, Bonnie came out to tell us something. She said, "There is a toad in our room, and he is going like this (as she demonstrated hopping)." We got the flashlight and went to check it out. Both boys were already asleep. Daddy caught the toad and let it go outside.
Tomorrow, we will be traveling to the border to renew paperwork. Please pray for safety on the road. We are planning to go to the border and come back home all in the same day. We still don't have the bars on the windows and don't want to leave the house overnight until we get those installed.
A demain,
Joe, Laura, Gilbert, Danny, and Bonnie
