Bonjour!
Today is a holiday here. It is Farmers’ Day.
This morning, Joe set the Christmas tree up for me. He brought in all of my boxes. We spent the morning unwrapping things. After Gilbert went down for his nap, we started decorating the tree.
There was a work night at church tonight. Joe took Gilbert with him. I finished decorating the tree while they were gone. Danny slept through it all.

Gilbert likes the tree. He thinks that it would be really fun to play with the Christmas balls on the tree, but he found out that it is a “No-no.” He can play with the bear that plays Jingle Bells though, and that is pretty exciting.
The power went off at the church promptly at 6:00. Our power was supposed to go off, but it stayed on. The president of the electric company must have told them that since it is a holiday, he wanted his power to stay on.
A demain,
Joe, Laura, Gilbert, and Danny
