Bonjour,
Joe took the vehicle to the mechanic yesterday. They did not finish with it yesterday. Joe took the kids to school in a taxi.
They finally delivered the bars for our windows and doors today, but they could not install them today because their machine that cuts concrete was being repaired. We had planned to go up to the church today to start getting the library in order, but we would not have had much time to do anything after we waited for the bars to be delivered.
My youngest sister Sharon had a baby today. I have been checking on her all day to see what was happening. After being in labor for quite awhile, they had to do a c-section. The last word that I heard was that they were finishing up the surgery and that baby and Mommy are both doing fine. Brianna Marie weighs 9 lbs. 6 oz.
When the kids got home from school, Joe had the taxi take him to the mechanic. They had said that the vehicle would be ready at 3:00, but they were not finished with it. Joe waited and drove it home. They welded the radiator in place and put new shocks on the front end. They were going to replace the springs too but could not find them. Joe said that just with the new shocks it made a big difference.
Bonnie said that she had to go to the office today. She and a boy in her class were both in trouble for not paying attention. At least, that was what I gathered from her explanation.
I took the kids swimming. Then, Gilbert helped me make Mexican lasagna.
A demain,
Joe, Laura, Gilbert, Danny, and Bonnie
