Bonjour,
Joe left the house early this morning to go get the vehicle inspected. He said that the vehicle doesn’t smoke at all when it is moving, but when it is idling waiting in line, the longer they sat still the more it smoked. After smoking up the entire place, they did not pass the inspection. The other “major” problems were that the driver’s door doesn’t open properly and the license plate was not mounted properly. The mechanic worked on the vehicle all day today and is going to do a couple more things tomorrow. He couldn’t tell if it was still smoking because it got dark. So, maybe the vehicle will pass inspection on Wednesday. If it passes before Friday, that will be a good birthday present for Joe. : )
The Litsons invited us over to watch the super bowl. The Engelharts were there too. We all made pizza; so, there was plenty for everyone. The ladies had a good time of fellowship, and the men really enjoyed watching the game. The children had fun playing.
After we rested for awhile, we went for a walk. Joe went to pick up our vehicle. He will take it back to the mechanic in the morning and then ride into Abidjan with Bob and Matt. They all need to run errands tomorrow.
A demain,
